This is the rulebook. For strategy (how to avoid all of it) read staying out of jail and EFCC.

Crimes

Seven activities at venues are crimes. Each one rolls a catch chance when you do it:

"Just fun" crimes (graffiti, sneaking into VIP) pay nothing but give a big Fun boost, which is the whole point.

Arrest options

If you are caught you choose:

OptionWhat happens
Pay the fineYou walk out immediately.
Sit in the cellNo fine; wait out the time. Bail between ₦2,000 and ₦1,000,000 lets you leave early, and friends can pay it.
Call a lawyerPay a fee (about a third of the fine, at least ₦20,000) and get a hearing at the High Court within minutes. Win: you walk. Lose: half the time.

The base lawyer win chance is 50%. Perks and a better lawyer push it up, capped at 80%. Jail sentences are capped, and the Good Lawyer perk shortens them by 25%.

Inside the cell you can still eat, sleep on the mat, play cards, do push-ups for Fitness and clean the cell for good behaviour. Fitness also improves your odds of slipping away in some situations.

The Lagos High Court

The court at Igbosere hears two kinds of case:

  • Criminal cases from arrests where you called a lawyer.
  • Lawsuits between players: robbery, attempted robbery and unpaid Hustle jobs (a job called off after the worker was hired). The claimant files, both sides get a court date a few days out, and the judge awards damages.

Miss your hearing and you lose by default. The court sends reminders.

Robbing other players

You can try to rob another player you meet. It takes a small share of their cash (capped), with a high catch chance. A security guard at their home makes it even riskier. Victims can report it and take you to court for the money back plus damages.

Quilox raids

Every so often the police raid Quilox. Players inside can try to run (a decent chance, with a small fine if caught) or stay and get questioned. Big spenders that night are the first to be pulled in, and the questioning can end in a short cell stay.

EFCC

The EFCC investigates money, not actions. It opens a file for:

  • Unexplained wealth: a sudden jump in your balance (roughly ₦100M or more).
  • A lifestyle audit: very heavy spending.
  • Big transfers out to other players.
  • Money moving straight through your account.
  • Your police record.

Richer accounts get audited more often, and at the higher tiers assets can be frozen while a case is open. A lawyer can settle a case for a cut of the money involved (from ₦100,000 up to ₦20M in fees). Ignore the file and you risk losing the cash and property in question.

Police jobs and reports

Anyone can walk into the Eko Police Division and Report a Crime for ₦2,000, or gist with the desk officer for Charisma. The police app on your phone shows whether you have an EFCC file.

Numbers come from the live game build and may change after updates.
