If you watch enough Lagos Life videos you notice something strange. One creator buys a Lekki Phase 2 plot "at 750 million". Another decorator mentions that "the richer you are, the more they charge you". A jacuzzi shows up at ₦250 million. Meanwhile our database lists the Lekki Phase 2 plot at ₦15 million and the jacuzzi at ₦25 million.
Nobody is lying. Lagos Life charges by wealth.
The thresholds
The game sorts every account into a tier by net worth. Each tier multiplies what you pay for activities at venues, and scales casino limits:
| Table | Net worth from | Stakes & prices | Winnings tax |
|---|---|---|---|
| Main floor | — | ×1 | 0% |
| VIP table | ₦1B | ×10 | 10% |
| Big Man table | ₦100B | ×50 | 25% |
| Oba's table | ₦1T | ×100 | 40% |
So at ₦1 billion net worth a ₦9,600 bottle service at Quilox becomes ₦96,000. Past ₦100 billion the same bottle is ₦480,000. The casino calls these the VIP, Big Man and Oba's tables, and it also taxes winnings at those tables.
A few things are exempt: spraying money, paying bail and "settling" an officer cost the same for everyone.
Why it exists
Think about launch week. Exploits and mass gifting left some players with billions or trillions of naira. Without a multiplier, those accounts could buy every car, every business and every bottle in the city without noticing, and the economy would mean nothing. Scaling prices with net worth keeps rich players spending, keeps the Quilox flex expensive, and quietly drains the excess money back out of the game.
It also mirrors something true about Lagos: the price changes when they see you coming.
What it means for you
- New and mid-game players: you will never see the multiplier. Every price in this wiki is what you pay.
- Approaching ₦1 billion: buy the big-ticket things you want before you cross the line. A Quilox share or Event Centre bought at ₦999M net worth costs a tenth of what it costs a day later.
- Decorators: your rich clients see different prices from you. Quote with their catalogue, not yours.
- Billionaires: your money goes much less far than the number suggests. A trillion naira at ×100 prices behaves like ten billion.
A note on the database
All prices on this site are base prices from the game data, before any multiplier. If your phone shows something ten, fifty or a hundred times higher, check your net worth against the table above.
Numbers come from the live game build and may change after updates.
