Lagos business news that changes your income for a week, and the policies elected players can switch on.

Each week the phone may announce a piece of Lagos business news. It is posted before it starts ("Coming this week") and lasts for the week. Effects are multipliers: +25% means the business earns 1.25Γ— its usual income; land changes are one-off price moves. Some events also raise accident or flood risk, which is where insurance pays off. Quiet weeks have no news at all.
